After learning how easy it would be to receive the advanced services at the Women’s Diagnostic Center, Janet signed up for her own digital mammography.
Highly skilled radiologists detected something very slight, but unusual. Janet was quickly scheduled for a biopsy that immediately and non-invasively detected a dangerous tumor. Within days, she underwent surgery. All of these procedures happened seamlessly at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center.
Today, Janet remains cancer free, spreading the word about these critical and complete screenings to the women in her life.

Medical Hands for Healing
Medical Hands for Healing is comprised of a group of caring Scottsdale Healthcare physicians, nurses and support staff dedicated to providing medical services to underprivileged children and families in Central and South America.
Their mission is to assist indigent people of third world developing countries with services ranging from medical exams to complex surgical care, all delivered by compassionate medical volunteers from Scottsdale Healthcare.
These volunteers complete an amazing 125 or more surgeries and treat an additional 750 people in the general medicine clinics during a single trip! Participation on the team is voluntary and members provide their own airfare and incidental needs. You can help provide new smiles, new hope and a new life to these children and families.
