Visiting Hours
Scottsdale Healthcare has adopted a philosophy of patient and family centered care. We want your family members and visitors to visit at times convenient to their schedules. We have no “posted” visiting hours, but some specialty areas may have restrictions. Your sensitivity and cooperation to these restrictions is greatly appreciated.
Hospital Access: Visitor Registration Enhances Safety
A new visitor registration program at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea has been initiated to enhance the safety of staff, patients and families. From 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., security officers will be stationed at the south entrance and the emergency entrance. All other doors will be locked at 8 p.m.
Security officers will encourage visitors to enter through the south entrance. All visitors will sign in and receive visitor badges listing their first name and patient room number. Visitor badges are also being issued at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn.
Visitor badges lose their coloring after 24 hours, anyone wearing an expired badge will need to re-register or leave the building.
