Medical Services

Major surgery, intensive care, emergency medicine and diagnostic procedures are among the many medical services offered at Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak.

Joint replacement surgery, including minimally invasive surgery for total knee replacement, as well as urologic and general surgery are offered at Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak. Our surgeons are among the top in their field, and our hospital staff are dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients.

Physicians know one of the most important aspects about a hospital is working with an experienced and knowledgeable staff. Scottsdale Healthcare’s emphasis on quality is a hallmark of all its hospitals.

Services come to the patient so the patient is not moved. For example, if you had surgery, then developed chest pains and your doctor ordered cardiac monitoring, we bring those services to you instead of moving you to a cardiac floor.

Hospital-based physicians, called “hospitalists,” provide round-the-clock care for patients at Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak.

A hospitalist is an internal medicine doctor who is at the hospital during his or her entire work schedule, and is assigned as an attending physician for a patient. The hospitalist can notify the patient’s primary care physician or referring specialist of major changes in condition or diagnosis.
